Chief Executive Officer
Graham "Buzz" Bidstrup has been actively involved in the Australian entertainment industry for over 35 years as a musician, songwriter, music producer and artist manager.
From 1976 to '81, he played drums with The Angels aka Angel City (USA, UK Europe) and co-wrote/co-produced songs which saw chart success not only in Australia but also overseas including the most successful Angels Australian hit single “No Secrets”.
In 1984 Buzz co-founded another legendary band, GANGgajang. He was music director for the Quiksilver cult surf film Mad Wax and subsequently GANGgajang was voted “No 1 band in the world” by the World Professional Surfers' Association 1988/89. He has also produced, recorded or played on soundtracks for many major Australian feature films, including Heatwave, and Starstruck documentaries and television series, like the 1984 ABC series Sweet and Sour where he was associate music director. He has produced over 45 albums for a wide variety of artists and his work as a session musician has been heard on many hit records, including Australian Crawl's “Reckless”, Jimmy Barnes' “No Second Prize” and Richard Clapton's “Solidarity”. Buzz began his management career in 1984 with GANGgajang but has also managed other artists including Nathan Cavaleri and Diana Anaid. He produced both their debut albums.
Buzz met Jimmy when he was asked to help promote the Messenger album and has managed his music and business affairs since 1999. He is also a board member of the Australian Association of Artis Managers.
